bit surprised it's a two year deal. For instance, puts him on same basis as Davies as well as Mahmood, Jones and Bohannon contracted to 2020.

including that of Jordan Clark (Surrey). He has 6 first class wickets for Lancashire (debut 2015) but could overhaul in the next couple days. Under contract at Lancs until 2020

Under contract at Lancs until 2020 The loan could be the boost he needs Can you really see him being promoted (this year) into the group who are currently being rotated between playing and resting:
Anderson, Gleeson, Bailey, Onions, Mahmood.
Lester and Hurt may get a look into a few T20 squads. But if he was near to playing championship cricket for Lancashire, this year, Chapple would not let him go out on loan. I see despite bowling the most 3 day championship overs for the seconds he is not their highest wicket taker. He is behind Burrows and Gleeson.
Next year maybe when Onions and Anderson may not be available.

Fair point 0/88 for in the second innings from 17 (so 5+ an over)

Still on loan at Warwickshire, our man took a character building 23-3-104-1 on the sort of Canterbury pitch that should get a points deduction. His economy rate was only slightly worse than the innings as a whole .

Wasn’t able to stay with the whole interview although I hope to finish it later but I thought he came over well.
