14-0-76-0. Not a very good start, but Guest didn't start very well at Derbys but has now come good this season. Some times these guys just need regular cricket.

Just been released. You’d assume a Derby/Leicestershire would pick him up

I really hope he gets another county. He trialed for about five counties before we gave him the first deal. I admire his determination to follow his dream despite the setbacks. Hope its not over for him. Did so well in the 50 over stuff I thought he would get another year.
If Mahmood doesn't recover we could be a bit thin. I think Boyden has a stress fracture and Aspinwall is only 18 so they won't step up straight away. Probably going to get an overseas pace bowler or maybe they have a domestic bowler lined up.

A bit surprised as I thought he had improved this season and we're not exactly overflowing with pace bowlers. I agree that the club must have one or two pace bowlers lined up. I'd be surprised if he doesn't find another county

Agree with others: surprised we let him go after the improvement seen this season and really hope (and expect) he finds another county. Given Bailey and Williams aren't suited to T20 I thought he provided a useful option in that competition, although we lost faith this year after one mediocre performance.
Surely we must have someone lined up given the youth of others on the books and the number of match day squads he featured in, all forms?

I'd be surprised if he doesn't find another county Assuming Saqib is back fit next season we’d have Bailey Williams Saqib Jimmy, Wood Balderson Blatherwick Lamb Aspinwall, Boyden contracted with an overseas bowler likely. Hassan Ali looks out of favour with Pakistan so could get him for a full season

I'm surprised he has not got a contract from a first class country. He proved to be a useful white ball player in the one day cup last season but has never impressed in a T20 game as I recall.

Currently playing for Northamptonshire seconds in the current round of games alongside Simon Kerrigan, Wicketless in the first innings, majority of the wickets going to Northants young leggie, Alex Russell.
