Bowled out by a spinner from Alabama. Who would have thought it?

Great start to the season so far then.
Thrashed by Surrey in game 1 and by USA in game 2.
Without Livingstone this season promotion is far from guaranteed.

Great start to the season so far then. Thrashed by Surrey in game 1 and by USA in game 2. Without Livingstone this season promotion is far from guaranteed. Can't find the fall of wickets for the first match but it would have been something like 75/5 from 16 overs. Second match was remarkably similar 85/6 from 21:
Looks like Hurt may be injured (only bowling 4.5 overs), of course there is no report on the USA match on the Lancs website. Probably better that way after they announced that Surrey had won by 6 wickets.
Headline on the Surrey website: "Surrey Crush Lancs In Pre-Season Opener"

Thanks for the info, Chris – it's not easy to discover reports on these matches. Maybe that's why no one has mentioned Croft's two ducks in two innings.

Just been watching the live streaming from the start. Lancashire thrashed thanks to Will Jacks (at one stage 98 from 22 balls ended up out for 105). Parry's over went for 37: a wide followed by 6 x 6s. Parkinson hit in the head on his second ball so went off failed caught and bowled chance (did not bat either) so figures of 0-6 from 2 balls. Hope he's alright. Hartley one over for 28 Burrows 2 overs 1/18 Lester 2 overs 0/41 Croft 1.4 overs 1/11 Bohannon 2 overs 1/34 Parry 0/37 from 1 over Lancashire collapsed to 81/9 in the 10th over. Guest 36, Davies 10 no-one else managed double figures. Hameed and Croft managed 1 each both out second ball. Hameed holing out on a full toss. How does that help him?
Good match practice. Not.

Only bright spot was a great innings by Guest. Great use of feet. Hartley looked solid but too slow for this kind of cricket.

Only bright spot was a great innings by Guest. Great use of feet. Hartley looked solid but too slow for this kind of cricket. I hope Chapple and Allott learnt something from that? If only not to play T10 as warm up matches. Has Croft faced 10 balls in total in 3 innings?
Parkinson went to hospital, if cricket continues like this, will be a more regular occurence. Looked awful. Best wishes to him.

Two matches left. A 50 over match (Sunday) and a 2 day match (early next week). Will Mahmood and Onions go through the pre season tour without playing? Hopefully Graeme Onions will play the 2 day match, but I do wonder why Saqib Mahmood hasn't played yet.
Nothing on the website about Matt Parkinson, they have only retweeted his picture from the hospital.
