Apparently the BBC TV Deal for the Hundred has now ended...wonder if they can afford to renew? Also Guardian reporting that there has been no interest in the TV broadcasting rights from Sky or TNT for the Pakistan series coming up..

Interesting article. I get the impression that Gidney sees the Hundred/ T20 franchise tournament as the premier domestic competition with the counties becoming feeder teams to the franchise and England teams.

I also think it should be played in Dubai over the Christmas / New Year holiday but I don't think Mr Gidney would go with that one. |

Whilst waiting for play Kevin Howells was interviewing, I think, the Sussex chairman and the hundread came up. The chairman danced around the questions; denied that CC had been shifted to the edges of the season due to the higher income from the hundread which he said was due to the players not the competition! A lot of BS really..
