Lancashire’s schedule for the Second XI Championship and T20 competition has been confirmed ahead of the start of the 2021 season.
The Seconds – who will now be led by Karl Krikken – will begin their Championship campaign away to Nottinghamshire at Lady Bay CC on Tuesday 13 April.
Their opening home four-day fixture takes place six days later at Northern CC as they host Glamorgan.
Lancashire are due to play their home fixtures around the county with Emirates Old Trafford, Northern CC, Liverpool CC, Southport & Birkdale CC and Chester Boughton Hall CC all set to host matches this summer.
The regionalised Second XI T20 competition consists of 10 matches throughout the month of June – and gets started away to Derbyshire on Tuesday 1 June before concluding away to Roses rivals Yorkshire on Thursday 17 June.
Lancashire will also host Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire in 50 over friendlies - on Wednesday 14 and Friday 16 July at Liverpool CC - to prepare players for the start of the Royal London Cup which gets underway later that month.
The Red Rose will complete their Championship campaign at home to Durham in Southport starting on Tuesday 14 September.
