Rocky scored 9 in latest rain-affected U19 'Test' against Sri Lanka. Kesh Fonseka, impressing again, scored 86.

Rocky will resume on 82 not out in the 2nd U19 'test' against Sri Lanka. Fonseka scored 76 and Charlie Barnard took 2-35 from 11.2 overs, Sri Lanka probably not the strongest opposition, but three players of genuine potential.

I think Rocky should be playing in the cc for the rest of the season. For the Surrey CC game there's a possibility Lancs will have a top 7 of Jennings, Wells, Bohannon, Salt, Iyer, Hurst and Balderson.
Against Derbyshire in the recent MB Rocky looked extremely uncomfortable against the short ball. He was smacked flush on the helmet and eventually got out to a bouncer. Opposition bowlers in the CC will pepper him if they can see a weakness. |

Good to hear. Seeing Mike Antherton's son playing in the 2nd XI game at Liverpool I was trying to think if any son of professional cricketeer has had a career better than their father...any ideas? David Bairstow was a Yorkie Stalwart and skipper who also played for England, but has undoubtedly been eclipsed by son Jonny. |
