The seconds spend the next four days at Barnt Green which is just south of Birmingham, another opportunity for Hameed to get some runs to add to his more than welcome century for Formby.

Heaven knows, his form has been poor enough this season already but over the summer we are going to need the kind of solid innings that he has played in the past and which, hopefully, he can still produce. |

Heaven knows, his form has been poor enough this season already but over the summer we are going to need the kind of solid innings that he has played in the past and which, hopefully, he can still produce. Agree Werneth in respects of practice but we should be encouraging the youngsters however until the powers that be sort out a proper fixture list this is always going to be a problem. 120-5 at lunch Hameed 24 Shiv 21 both out |
