Think they wanted him to go last year,  but he chose to fulfill his contract with them.  Consequently he spent the whole year in the seconds didn't even play a RL50 game for the 1st XI.


Will move back to move back to Ormskirk or pro somewhere in the NW?

Good to see Luke Proctor making a success of his career at Northants. I wonder how is career would have developed if he'd stayed at Lancashire. Would he now be established in the championship side?

Procter had his best ever season with the bat in 2022, hope the captaincy doesn't weigh heavily. He has gone onto have a very good career, 13 years as a professional.
