We all expected some to go but not 16. You wonder how Lord Patel's pledge of "reconcilation" equates with such drastic action.
The 16 apparently includes all those who signed a letter in the autumn attempting to give an alternative version to Rafiq's story.
Curious that not one player is included, despite the likes of Ballance coming under fire.

The 16 apparently includes all those who signed a letter in the autumn attempting to give an alternative version to Rafiq's story. Curious that not one player is included, despite the likes of Ballance coming under fire. Daily Telegraph reporting that Yorkshire face players revolt and bitter legal battle.
Yorkshire Post wondering if Ballance will be next.
Telegraph saying some players "were said to feel so strongly that they were threatening to leave themselves” and the paper was told “ those sacked were ‘blindsided' by the announcement and that some were certain to follow Rafiq in taking legal action against the club after receiving no severance pay. Such action would allow them to tell their side of the story”
