5 off the next over, a Jones single off the last ball is probably not going to help.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Sorry but Rob Jones shouldn't be in the T20 side.

If amateurs like me can reach the conclusion that the likes of Bohannon and Jones aren't suited to T20 cricket, why can't someone like Glen Chapple work it out?
Oh for last night's innings from George Bell.

Disappointing the way they've played recently. Bohannon, Jones, Bailey should get nowhere near a T20 team. Need to beat the Rapids because the Bears will maul this Lancs side last game.

Got home for the last 4 overs: 5,5,12,5 David 6 off 6 balls (all singles) Jones 21 from 17 including 2 x 4s.
Every time Jones gave him the strike, he scored a single.
You all sure it was down to Rob Jones? Not Vilas 10 from 11? Not Derby keeping David off the strike? Not David not hitting any boundary in the last 4 overs?

And what is the point of Buttler? At least last season he played five games.

Fair points Chris, for this game, but I think we are mostly meaning from any the games he's played. And he did end up with 24 off of 21, only Vilas finished with a worse strike rate if you remove Lamb from the equation. He got a quack quack against Durham and 11 from 14 against the Steelbacks and didn't play in the win over Notts. To be fair, he didn't play in the Durham defeat which was poor all round for me even though Lancs should have won at the end.

sort of felt a bit sorry for jones in the end (it's just not his game and after last night surely Bell should have played?) but also don't understand why David took a single at the start of the last over either - poor game management. Still we always like to make it exciting.
