One of four (plus the coach) of the England World Cup winning team honoured in the NY List. MBE. Once again giving out honours to those who do well at their well paid job.
As an aside Bairstow missed out (again).

Buttler back in the country today. Starting 10 days isolation in an approved hotel. In theory could be available for either or all (unlikely) of the remaining matches in first phase of the championship.
His 10 days are up on 15th May. Matches previously clashing with the IPL for which the ECB will decide his available are: 20th May (Northants), 27th May (Yorkshire)

Amazing if we do get to see Jos in a Lancashire sweater – it would be his first appearance for the county in any form of cricket for three years. And I'm not blaming him for his absence – it's just the way the game is now.

Amazed the fans and even the commentator at Somerset want him back. Why? To be a poster boy on the website?
As Werneth said, it isn’t his fault and I know nobody likes a smart arse, but I did tell everyone on the old Forum when they were celebrating that he would be a meaningless signing ; a footnote if that in Lancs cricket history

Who I would like to see 1 Jennings 2 Davies 3 Bohannon 4 Livingstone 5 Vilas 6 Buttler 7 Wood 8 Lamb 9 Bailey 10 Parkinson 11 Anderson According to the BBC: England's Indian Premier League players are unlikely to take part in next month's Test against New Zealand.
Those returning from the postponed IPL, including Jos Buttler, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Woakes, Sam Curran and Moeen Ali, will not be rushed back after their mandatory 10-day isolation period.
So I can’t imagine the ECB will rush Buttler to Lancashire for match practice, if they don’t want him to play in the tests.
