Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Netherlands and Ireland qualify for the 9 year long tournament. West Indies go home. Watch out for the tall Zimbabwe bowling who had a spell with Northampton Muzarabani looks more than decent on Aussie wickets
Watched some of the qualifying games the lesser teams gave 100% and made it semi enjoyable for the whack over deep mid wicket competition

Given how weak Zimbabwe have been over recent times, I’m surprised they even made the Super 12s.

Given how weak Zimbabwe have been over recent times, I’m surprised they even made the Super 12s. One really good batsman Raza and a decent pace attack although bowling in the wet didn’t help

Embarrassing by England. I always get a feeling of over confidence from this one day side.

As an England fan I can't complain about the result. I only started watching when Malan got out but looking at the scores the Irish were on top when the rain came. Important points dropped in a tough group.

As an England fan I can't complain about the result. I only started watching when Malan got out but looking at the scores the Irish were on top when the rain came. Important points dropped in a tough group. Few more balls at Mooen Ali (or Livingstone) and the game would have been rescued. Wasn't there far more rain when still paying at the Sth Africa Zimbabwe game?
Although the HPR will tell us that England don't play enough franchise cricket to complete at this level.

Seems a mistake to play this tournament in Australia at this time. Rain making a mockery of it.
