Yes, Ian Folley sadly developed the yips. Really good bowler at his peak, though.
Back issues curtailed Athers bowling. I remember the season he topped the bowling averages. Yozzer Hughes used to bring him on to mop up the tail(as Wells accidentally did yesterday). This didn't go down too well with the quickies who'd toiled away against the proper batsmen, and wanted first crack to improve their figures. Hughes never stood any such nonsense, however, and was only interested in the best way to win the game. Probably the last Lancashire captain to ignore the hierarchy.

Wasim was a fantastic captain, the only one who believed in Schofield and wasn't worried how many runs he went for as long as he took wickets. Every other captain took him off after one bad over. I believe he only did the job for one season unfortunately. Might be wrong, but I think we finished 2nd that season
