Wife about to give birth has returned to New Zealand contract concluded Probably best for all concerned. He has been a terrible signing. Brought in to strengthen our batting line up and to play all formats and play all season. He has been a liability. |

So clearly the pregnancy was known about in April when he arrived. If he had been a roaring success, presumably he would have returned to see the season out.
