Kerrigan taking time out from playing as his form has dipped badly, was professional with Fulwood and Broughton as a batsman only has been having trouble releasing the ball. Personal view do not think his career has progressed since the mauling he got in his one test, still young enough to make a come back but it is going to be hard work for him. Helping out with he coaching at Old Trafford

Such a shame to see him struggle and hard to see him getting back into the team with all of the spin options at the club.

Kegs departs the club sad to think playing that one test really wrecked his career Allways felt really sorry for him after his Eng mess, but at least he can say that he did play for England, not many ex county cricketers can say that. |

He scored 81 and bowled a maiden before close.

Surprised there isn't a stronger northern connection with Leicestershire as Paul Nixon is from Cumberland. Doesn't Tom Smith coach there? |

Doesn't Tom Smith coach there?Smith is a coach there, sadly for Northamptonshire and Leicester if they get decent players they always tend to end up at Nottinghamshire although that doesn’t seem to be going to plan at the moment |
