Another poor effort on a flat wicket having won the toss. Relegation staring us in the face already. Too many batters getting in but failing to capitalise.

I didn't think Bell looked too comfortable out there, got beat by the ball a few times playing a weak push.

As he did on a flat wicket in the last game. Not convincing against pace sadly.

Hurst also out, into the tail. Another desperatly poor effort. What garbage will Berkenstein come out with today?

Hurst goes and now Bruce is batting with the lower order. Obviously Hartley is no mug with the bat so if they can survive the rest of the day we should still be able to make 350+ tomorrow. If one of these goes I expect us to collapse to about 310 all out pretty sharpish.

Hartley and Bailey both sloggers and two rabbits at 10 and 11.
And a failure to sign any decent batsmen to try and shore up the middle order.
We deserve to be bottom.

All rather predictable after the last couple of games.
Wells and Bohannon out of nick, Jennings threw his wicket away, Balderson and Bell not technically equipped to score heavily on flat wickets despite having the advantage of winning the toss.
Hartley quite clearly too high at 8.
What a mess.

Reaching 300 is looking shaky at the mo.....
Can see us conceding 500 plus- no Lyon, Hartley innocuous on flat wickets.
