6 points from 8 is good, but the three wins have been at OT. We have always had an excellent home record in T20. The test will be where we are after the set of away games we have coming up.

Yes - it remains to be seen whether our awful performance at New Road was an aberration or the result of not having the right bowling attack. I think we are short of at least one defensive seamer and one defensive spinner. Nevertheless last night was a good result against one of the better sides in the group, although Warwickshire did not help themselves by choosing to bowl first - a surprising decision for an ex-Lancashire captain.

I was surprised that Tom Aspinwall didn't play on Friday and now isn't included in the squad for the Trent Bridge game. is he injured?

Maybe Aspinwall is seen as the alternative to Blatherwick and the latter has played pretty well in the last two matches.

Bruce is really struggling, they should seriously consider leaving him out if he doesn't get a score in the next couple of games.
We've justifiably given Blatherwick pelters on here over the last couple of seasons but he's played very well in the last two games. Bowled well, perhaps even under bowled on Friday and he's a very good fielder in the deep: mobile, athletic, good hands, very good arm.

Completely agree. Not easy to drop your overseas signing - calls your judgement into question - but needs to happen. Some people on here may remember Lancs dropping Steve Elworthy from a Lord's final line-up. He didn't take it well but he hadn't justified being selected (did get much better in his thirties, unlike most).
