So the DOC appears from behind the settee and spouts...a load of bullsh..
"get behind the team and be our 12th man" - does he think he's Pep or Klopp? This isn't a team who are getting booed by the members/spectators.
"we've been impacted by longer than expected rehab programmes to our quick bowlers" - read the interviews with Saqib and it was always early May before he would be ready. The other crock Stanley isn't even playing red ball cricket.
"we've also been impacted by Salt and Wood getting late call ups to the IPL" - did he not know that they had put their name down for said comp, especially Salt who was always odds on to receive a late call up.
But never mind, he has personally seen how hard Dale and the squad are working.
Clear those throats and get ready for a rousing rendition of 'Oh, Lanky, Lanky', at the seaside.
