Yet another poor forecast over the 4 day's. The odds are we will be going into the mid season break (after all it is May!) bottom of the pile.

One team which nearly threw away a big advantage in their last match against a team who actually did throw away an even bigger advantage.
Warwicks confidence won't be too high. Can we take advantage? No doubt Davies will score a century.

Will it be the same team as the last match?
Will Woakes be back?

Will it be the same team as the last match? Will Woakes be back? Hassan Ali has been released by Pakistan so he is available for Warks. I've heard he's quite a useful bowler...

Will it be the same team as the last match? Will Woakes be back? Well Lancs will need a replacement for Mahmood...I suggest a batsman. Can't expect Jennings to score big every time. He currently has scored 25% of the Lanc's total CC runs so far. No Lanc's batsman bar Bell has a season average of more than 30.
Note that car park A is now the fan village and the road closures for the Great Manchester run on Sunday which will pass the other Old Trafford.

Most of the ground not being used as per normal begs the question why did they rebuild it?

Most of the ground not being used as per normal begs the question why did they rebuild it? I guess that LCCC are trying to minimise the cost of stewarding by opening as little of the ground as possible. I presume that the stewarding numbers are set by Trafford MBC perhaps based on that at the other Old Trafford. As lancsdes says at Trent Bridge these numbers are lower even though they have two football grounds there. During last season the lower part of B or C stand was open now its only the top levels and there was an entrance to ground by the club shop.If LCCC can't afford the stewards then something's wrong somewhere....

Every single thing Lancashire do now is based on cost cutting. Whether that be, stewards, stands shut, toilets locked (no need to clean, refill etc), TV's not on around the ground or area where a stand is open, exit gates locked, entry points less and less, spin magazine, members badge, pocket size fixture list, members pack....but (their words) it's still a welcoming venue.

So a match and a half for Saq, is that it until 2025?
