Thanks for the Q & A info. There seem to be lot of these meetings this season but if the club wants more direct contact with the members is that such a bad thing? You're welcome.I'm more than happy for the club to engage with the members but a hastily arranged meeting with 2 day's notice conveniently at 1pm on a Saturday, a non working day? Rather inconveniently the AGM is held at 4.15 in the afternoon, a working day? I will stand by my original post, I treat the present hierarchy with the utmost suspicion.

Who decides if Chilton gets the push? The board? Do the members have any say or pull? Do the members have a say - basically no.
Remember Chilton has up to the end of the 2028 season to deliver 2 trophies (as stated in his speech at last year's AGM) so as things stand he's going nowhere.

I don't see the point in having Wood Salt Anderson Livingstone etc on the books if they never play for Lancs also signing an spinner who is past his sell by date was crazy a decent bat or better still a batting all rounder would have been more sensible surely.....the 2 overseas men have done nothing to help the cause... It was clear looking at the International and franchise fixtures that Butler, Salt and Livingstone were not going to be available this season. Jimmy was only ever going to play a couple of games. It was also likely that Wood and Hartley would have limited availability. Also taking into account that Saqib is coming back from injury we have gone into the season with a threadbare squad with little back up for injuries, loss of form, International call ups. Last season we lost Vilas, Croft, Jones, Parkinson, Lamb and Gleeson. The only domestic recruit I can think of is Stanley.
Over recent years we have made a habit of recruiting players from other counties who we either loose to England or franchise teams (Butler, Salt, Wood) and releasing players who go on to have successful county careers elsewhere such as Davies, Hameed and Proctor.

Good progress towards that .Not sure what the other might be.

With it being so dark and spinners bowling why don't we bring a pace bowler on so they will go off for bad light? Surely that would suit us better!

Might force a draw for us if it persists.

Local forecast is for overnight rain then sunny intervals...not sure whether Warks would prefer a draw... Surrey being hammered by Hants...even the mighty can falter..

The sad thing is that if Warwickshire declared overnight and set us 232 in a full day I doubt many of us would be confident we’d get them.

The bottom three Lancashire, Kent and Worcestershire all battling for a draw and probably hoping for some bad weather. Says it all.

I think Warks will have a thrash tomorrow say for 30 minutes then declare....but can't see us going for the win though...

I don't think it will make much difference whether we do or don't try to win this game. Without an improbable transformation to our batting, we'll lose either way.
