Good article by Mike Atherton in The Times the other day. As someone who never played 2020, he was saying what a strange world it was, where someone like Livingstone could hit 14 off 4 balls and regard it as a satisfying and well paid job done.
I wonder whether Livingstone will wonder in a few years time whether the money was worth being forgotten in a couple of years if that. He never struck me as being particularly bright so maybe that won’t trouble him . It’s not as if he would have earned a bad living as a Test cricketer which I will always believe he had the ability to be.
