Don’t know what’s happened to this website, but surely we need Jimmy to offer his services for the last 3 games to the county he proffers to love, or else we are doomed!!

It seems like we’ve been told for months now that Anderson would be playing for us again at the back end of the season, but nothing as yet.
There are only three games left so if it’s going to happen, it had better be quick.

At the moment he's still with England so definitely doesn't play at Durham. I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if he turned out for the last 2 games (but would love to be proved wrong).

Jimmy is continuing his England mentor/coaching role for the series over in Pakistan. The first Test starts 7 October so I can't see him having the time to fit in a couple of CC games at the end of September.

So no Anderson, Wood or Mahmood and misfiring Bailey and Williams, Durham will be quaking in their boots.

Jimmy is injured apparently, hurt his calf chasing a football with the England squad according to Broad on commentary this morning.
He was pictured on the England balcony at the Oval today with his calf strapped up.
