There is a survey on your thoughts on Lancs TV which can be accessed via their twitter. Can't see it on the website.

Some of the later questions are about making it subscription/ pay per view and no longer free.

If you enjoy the stream but might not bother if you had to pay I would urge you to complete the survey as its seems to be Gidney's latest unpleasant scheme.

Bit by bit I believe they want to marginalise support for the men's county side and I feel its important to not let them have the justification via this survey.

This is the survey. As redandrosy points out there are a lot of questions re subscription etc. It appears that Lancashire are dipping their toe in the water to see the reaction. They look like they are desperate to claw back money from any angle. On other platforms Lancs supporters are less than impressed.

A lot of those viewing seem to be betting on the game! An alternative would be to having advertising or cut the operation down to a fixed camera each end and no commentary.

Somerset have advertising on their stream, still a good stream and the advertising isn't intrusive.

Yeah, they need to figure out how to advertise on it better. I will not be paying if they go that route. I don't do social media except for a couple of message boards, I don't even own a mobile phone and so cannot take the survey. I'm probably no use to Lancs seeing as they can't monetize me except for charging for Lancstv.

You don't need a mobile phone or twitter account to do the survey. I did it on a lap top by clicking on the link above.

Gidney considering making certain games members only.

Trying to monetize it.

Doesn't seem to consider if it weren't for streaming how many people would see the shirt sponsorship and perimeter advertising.
The value of such deals would be seriously devalued should it disappear behind a pay wall. Keeping it free maintains income they already get.

I doubt many would pay a fee for an individual match. Some discreet advertising would be their best bet for clawing back some off the £250k they spend on it.

Leicestershire did it end of last season own goal is my view let’s make it harder for people to access the game
