Lavelle has been picked for England's Under 19 squad he's playing in today's second "Youth Test".
Lancashire's previous England under 19 "Test" caps are:
Dan Houghton (2016/7) Matt Parkinson (2015)
Haseeb Hameed (2014/15 and 2015)
Saqib Mahmood (2014, 2014/5 and 2015) Rob Jones (2014) Gavin Griffiths (2012/3) John Simpson (2005) etc.

Luke Wells did opened for Sussex, but moved down to number 3 spot. I will put a link from espncricinfo into Luke Well's thread. |

Just been told, George Lavelle has injured his ankle, hopes to be back for the seconds soon. Not Monday, but their next 4 day game and for the RL50. Has restarted training.

Thanks for the information we would never have got that out of the club!
He started the season well with the seconds. He's a fantastic keeper just needs to start adding the runs and was starting to show that. I hope he can have a good 50 over campaign when Salt is away.

Hope he is being released to play at Leigh tomorrow; they have a decent attack and although not first class, it would be better than a net.
