When the new pub games starts next season the RLC is being reclassified as a Development Tournament for young players So if Steven Croft doesn't get drafted into a franchise for the Hundred, he can put his feet up? Same for Jennings?
Would this also spell the end for the seconds 50 overs tournament?

Looks like it’s not only the ECB downgrading the stature of the 50 over Competition
The first wicket to fall in the Australian Tournament was Short being bowled by Short.
Not sure about Little and Small, but I assume Joe Mini will be playing when his team start their competition.
Incidentally Glenn Maxwell opened the bowling
