Tomorrow sees the third group game of the Royal London Cup as we travel across the Pennines to face Yorkshire at Headingley. After 2 defeats including a narrow defeat at Notts on Friday, Lancs have it all to do to qualify in the top 3 and what better way to get our campaign started with a win at those lot. I was impressed with him today. A good debut and he kept his nerves when he bowled the penultimate over.

Really delighted to hear that about Liam Hurt. Whenever I have watched him either in local league cricket or the Lancashire 2nds in three day games, he has looked a great athlete but far too inaccurate bowling. The powers that be have clearly seen something there as they did with Tom Bailey which some far better judges of cricket then I am also failed to see.
I was amazed that Liam got a contract as he had been playing for Leicester seconds without any great success, but as with Tom Bailey, I so hope he proves me wrong.
