The first of three games this week takes the team to Gosforth in the North of Newcastle to take on Durham who are second we are presntly third, interesting that it is being played on an outground which is the way this competition will be going next season.
South Northumberland Cricket Club (often referred to as South North) is a cricket club, founded in 1864,[1] based at the Roseworth Terrance ground in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, England. They play in the North East Premier League, which they have won on ten occasions. They have also won the ECB National Club Cricket Championship on three occasions, most recently in 2016.[2]
Win this and we could be on the way to a home quarter final

Won by three wickets with five balls to go, Onions hitting 16 in 6 balls to get us over the line think that will put us second with two to go Derby and Warwickshire

Almost lost by playing only 7 batsmen with the last two very young and inexperienced. Rob Jones looking much more confident these days. Durham member sitting next to me, proclaimed he'd "now seen it all" after Graham Onions hit back to back sixes. Raine had previously gone 1 for 16 from 8 overs.
Always something in the pitch, lots of balls hitting the pads.
Anderson showing why he is no longer a one day bowler 33 from his last 3 overs.
South North CC a pleasant enough urban out ground.
Can see why Allott wants to improve on his Cumbrian connections, Durham have more.
