As a friend of mine said this morning, if you were writing a novel around cricket, it would not be credible if Lancs had an all ticket game at an outground in Yorkshire. In my days as a cricket mad teenager when we went on family holidays to Sedbergh, I would have thought the chance of a first class game being played there in my lifetime was nil.
Cricket wise, there are some good things happening on the field which is good to see

The on field performance is seemingly a little better at the moment. Certainly Steven Croft and Saqib Mahmood are performing admirably, and they arenβt the only ones.
