Doesn't seem like it was yesterday since we played these lads and now it's the return at Worcester HQ down by the River Severn, last season we didn't chase down well over 600 expect a closer game this time providing they get decent weather which is not a certainty Worcestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Worcestershire. Its Vitality Blast T20 team - who are the defending champions after claiming their first title in 2018 - has been rebranded the Worcestershire Rapids, but the county is known by most fans as "the Pears". The club is based at New Road, Worcester. Founded in 1865, Worcestershire held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship in the 1890s, winning the competition three times. In 1899, the club joined the County Championship and the team was elevated to first-class status.[1] Since then, Worcestershire have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England. Do recall not so long ago the above picture caused a four day game against us to be abandoned, not yet achieved my ambition of going there and next week will not change that. squad wise think Anderson may be back and is there a case for Davies?

Worcestershire move next weeks game to Kidderminster due to high risk of flood in Worcester remember 2007 when Jim Cumbes decided to ignore the weather forecast and refuse the option of a move to Kiddersminster, so Lancs were washed out against the rock bottom side and eventually just miss out on the championship.
