At least a couple of our seconds playing. cheshireccc.play-cricket.com/website/results/3887708 May go tomorrow . When I looked at weather forecasts for tomorrow at Chester six hours ago, the BBC, Met Office and Metcheck all differed wildly. Met Office gave sunny day ; 10% chance of rain each hour except one hour of 30%. Met Check gave rain all day. If I go, Met Check will be right. If I don’t , Met Office will be spot on

Voice of B Stand who used to post on the old Forum said Aitchison looked good yesterday though not exceptional.
Looks like it has been abandoned today. To paraphrase Eric Morecambe, the weather forecast get the forecast right but on the wrong day. No play lost to rain yesterday which you would never have guessed from the BBC forecast though Met Office was more accurate.

Not rained were I am saving it all for next week BBC forecasting less than 20% chance of rain for the next fortnight up here. Looks like Allott may have got lucky.
Had been intending to pop across to Sedbergh today, but with the thunder storms forecast for yesterday, I waited till today to make my mind up only to see that all traces of the match (Sedbergh School vs Lancashire Academy) had been completely - and silently - deleted from the club website. Once again appalling communication.
