Was so hoping to be there. It’s great to be able to watch from the pavilion balcony  both because you have a TV view and tomorrow will be watching some good and potentially good cricketers. However, have suddenly become mad busy in work. Don’t expect any sympathy as I retired unsuccessfully six years ago

Would you think those who wrote that had ever seen the second XI play?

Found myself looking at the Lancs 1st Team squad on the website (to see who might be available for next week) amazed to see Joe Burns still listed not a mention of George Burrows (or Sanders).

Options appear to be stop rotating Onions and / or register Faulkner, play Sanders or Burrows (Lamb hasn't bowled yet this year) doubt they play Balderson, cancel Lester's loan or get Footitt back on loan.  Why do I think they might do the latter?  Or play two front line spinners on a used pitch.
