Bangladesh Under 19s scrambled two runs off a frenetic final ball to somehow seal a tie with England Under 19s at Beckenham.
Kent's Jordan Cox enjoyed his home turf to score 122 on his return to the side, with 56 from captain George Balderson taking the home team up to 256/7 from their 50 overs.
In reply Bangladesh were up against it at 61/3 but an unbeaten hundred from Tawhid Hridoy and 76 from Shahadat Hossain - with whom Hridoy put on 159 for the fourth wicket - brought the visitors back into it.
England rallied to take three wickets and leave themselves in the box seat but Hridoy and Avishek Das managed to get two off the final delivery and with it secure the tie.

Bit worried he talks of trying to put on pace to gain international recognition. Perhaps if he didn't fall away at the crease that would help but I just associate straining for pace with stress fractures. I don't think it's an easy thing to do either. Can't remember too many occasions in the past where it has been successful.
Already an admirable cricketer, could potentially gain international recognition for batting alone.

Great to see George signing a three year contract. As we're seeing out in India all rounders are so important to the balance of a cricket side and in George we have someone who is already one of the best in the championship. I really hope we play a five man attack next year that includes Luke Wood. The quality of Lyon and the other three bowlers should allow the captain to use Wood in short, sharp bursts where he's allowed to use the most of his natural pace, awkward skiddy trajectory and left arm angle. Could be a really good season ahead.
