Rob Jones century now batting with I Player? is this the cricket version of A Trialist I Player is Danny Lamb. It's the device they use in these warm-up matches when someone who's already batted gets a second go – why they can't just use their name, I don't know. Incidentally, that looked a nasty blow that Mahmood took on the head. Hope he's OK. |

So no Bailey or Croft in the first two day friendly. Hope they appear tomorrow, but have my doubts.
Wonder why Luke Wood didn't bat? Another injury niggle?
Imagine facing Harmer on that pitch. Westley was turning it miles on occasion. |

Pity that they couldn't play first-class so Jones' century would have meaning. It doesn't have to be Championship to be first class, we played Yorkshire in a "friendly" some years ago and that was deemed first class (might have been 4 days) - more first class than some Test games I could mention recently!!
