The Lancashire Evening Telegraph has dug up tweets from as far back as 2011 to indicate that Gleeson, Hurt, Davies, Wells and Bohannon have been a bit provocative of Twitter.

I hear WG Grace verbally abused a black ball boy in 1867, I fully expect the Grace gates at Lords to be demolished and his grave blown up!

Why on earth do they thnk this is important or worthwhile journalistic work?
If it is, are they proposing to do further research on Lancastrian sportsmen playing everything from football to tiddlywinks?
And who knows what once innocent but now dodgy references lurk in the old files of the Lancashire Evening Telegraph?

Unfortunately it's the sad times we live in, good job nobody back checked my life otherwise would have been serving life in prison
