They must have some faith in this lad. 3 years in and he's still very much a work in progress to me. Iron out his inconsistency, his constant no balls, his occasional beamers, his frequent injuries and Lancs might find a bowler.

He looks like he could be just what we need, strong athletic, decent action,fairly quick, can swing it. Just a chronic lack of consistency holding him back. If they could just cure that. Hopefully Onions will make smarter.

They must see something in him that I can't see. Hope they're right. Does this mean the new coach has been determined? Whilst offering contract extensions to the likes of Bohannon, Wells, etc is a no-brainer, wouldn't you want to run an extended contract to somebody like Blatherwick past the new coach?

Depends on the severity of the tear but that probably puts him out for 6-8 weeks so likely to miss the first three or four championship games.
