Just noticed Gleeson and Salt not playing. Buttler and Livingstone between them lasted 4 balls and didn’t get off the mark.

So presumably the 5 Lancashire players are all of vital necessity to the England team.
As much as I detest the ECB, I must frequently remind myself that it’s main component is the FC Counties.
Presumably the FC Counties agreed to this decimation of the Blast. Having previously agreed to the hiding of the Championship and the downgrading of the 50 over tournament
