Get in! With as many players missing that we have, that's a great win.

Ridiculously easy. And very easy to forget to that Parkinson, Gleeson and Livingstone were all missing

A quick mention for Steven Croft; upon reaching 54 he became the first batsman to aggregate 1,000 runs for Lancashire this season.
He currently has 1,022, (Championship 524, T20 498).

Only 3 Lancs players in last 20 years have reached 500 runs in a Blast season Smith in 2010 at 119.60 Moore in 2011 at 133.16 Davies in 2018 at 129.61

The last two games reflect really well on the team: after the shambles at Worcester things could easily have gone to pieces, so credit where due. Very unlikely to be a flat pitch at Edgbaston so we have a chance. Pity there are so few tickets reserved for the participating counties compared with a few years ago.

Re tickets, a pity they are on sale when we are at Southport, harder to sort on a mobile phone!

Just catching up with things after returning from the land of no internet. I didn't find out the result until Sunday lunch time when I got to the top of a Lake District fell. I think the ease of the victory does not justify the team selection. I would like to see Bell picked ahead of Jones. Wells has bowled well in the competition but to rely on him to bowl four overs with Croft and David as the only other options is risky. If Salt is not available for finals day I really hope Bohannon is not the replacement.
Looks like Yorkshire are going to be without Bairstow, Brook, Willey and Root so both sides in the first semi-final will be depleted.

Bell for Jones, yes I agree, but the selection of the extra batter was justified. Wells has almost been matching Parkinson with his bowling figures of late, adding Morley in such a game would've been a risk, and the extra batter gave Croft and Vilas more license to be aggressive from the off. Lamb would be at least 1 place too high when batting at 7. Suspect Brook will be released, and a decent chance that Willey will be released, given he asked to be allowed to play against Surrey, and England have Curran as an alternative. Hopefully Salt will be released. Ideally we'd have Livingstone as well, but very unlikely.
