Looks like the game is fizzling out into a draw as Foakes and Pope seem to have dug in for a draw, losing a day will not have helped but not a bad performance to nearly get a result with one day lost. Into the last hour 156-4 new ball due in five overs.

Apparently playing football this morning suspect badly bruised but doubt with the Red Rose site we'll never find out Vilas was keeping on day three as well as today. Must be more to it than football this morning.

Was done mid-way through yesterday and according to the Radio commentary on the live stream he had a hand injury so couldn't keep.

Was done mid-way through yesterday and according to the Radio commentary on the live stream he had a hand injury so couldn't keep. Just read on the club website (!) That Davies took a blow on the thumb but they are hopeful he will be ok, injury not getting worse. More concern over Chanderpaul (being monitored after picking up a groin injury). Suspect Jones will be in Friday's squad.

Coldest I can remember was the corresponding fixture in 2008 at the Oval. Surrey members were livid as, IIRC, the pavillion was a partial closed and they had to go to the new OCS stand and sit in the wind with no facilities. cricketarchive.com/Lancashire/Scorecards/132/132270.htmlLoye run out by Schofield who really celebrated.

Coldest ever for me was Boxing Day 2006 at MCG. It actually snowed on outskirts of Melbourne that Christmas and I brought newspapers home to prove it to non believers. Paul Collingwood said it was like England in winter. Have had some freezing days at OT and Aigburth but none to match that.
