I thought Bailey looked a bit tired against Kent so it's not a complete surprise.  Thought Croft looked due a rest as well but it's Blackpool...  Nothing been said by the club about Williams - typical, I'm afraid.  Won the toss and bowling. 

Edit: apparently Bailey has hurt his hand.

It's the same pitch as for the Northants game so pace-off should work a bit better than it did last time.

We've tightened up quite a bit so maybe it was a bit of loose early bowling.

Danny Lamb is really infuriating.  Bowls really well through the innings and then serves up a last over of pies.  Hope I'm wrong but I'll be surprised if we get these.  Notts are already showing how to bowl on this pitch.  

Edit: a small sign of hope as Pettman's next goes for 14...

Edit again: but snuffed out as Jennings pushes lazily at Hutton and nicks off.
