I believe that Gleeson's contract is for white ball cricket, not just T20. I don't think there is anything to stop Lancs playing their "franchise" bowlers in the final (assuming they get there) but, unless they were replacements caused by injury, it wouldn't be great for team spirit and, as Durham found last year, it wouldn't guarantee success. Gleeson's contract was T20 only, initially. He had to prove and maintain his fitness for even that to happen. Hence he played for Blackpool and Cumbria prior to the Blast (managed by Lancs).
As an aside, after his heroics of the summer, playing for England and getting a franchise contract, he has never played a single franchise game to date.
Certainly it is the case at NCCA level, and so I assume common sense wise at FC County level also for the RL50 and the Blast, as long as the player is / has been registered with the county they can play in the later stages. So Lancs could play Boyden, for instance. You can bring your own players in, but not an outsider. Cumbria played Liam Gray in their trophy semi final, having not played for the County since 2019, but we had maintained his registration.

One area we have been weak in is spin/slow bowling hence Croft bowling. Wells has been useful but we need Parky back.

It would be perfectly reasonable to bring back Parkinson as our overseas spinner (Sundar) is injured.
