Poor in the field from Wells. Needs to make up for that with the bat. Lancs letting Kent get a decent score here.

Another drop. 2 bad drops and an lbw not given, could have been a lot better for Lancs this.

306-6 off 50. At one point I did think they would be well over 300, but at the same time they could have ended up a lot less if that lbw and those catches were taken.

I agree, I started watching just before the third wicket went down and thought that Kent would get 350 then, so good recovery by the bowlers but the fielding was sloppy.

Decent start with the bat. Recently though, its felt like when the openers started well, once one of them went a collapse followed it.

Wells out to a c&b. Now we'll see if 3, 4 and 5 can step up.

Bohannon does his usual, scores lowly and slowly then gets out. Needs dropping for 1 dayers and T20. Surely there's a young lad in the ranks who should be playing instead for these games.

The old adage catches win matches. Lancs 248-7 43.3 overs, think it's slipping away now.

285 should’ve been a winning score, but for a poor team selection and diabolical fielding.

They moved the final to the smallest test ground and it looked about half full. From the TV there looked alot more Kent fans. How can that be when you consider the size and populations? We have lost an awful lot of support since the days we were regularly in these finals. I wonder how many of the lancs t20 and test match tickets are bought by people mainly there for the beer.
Gidney and the board have alienated a fair section of the old core support.
I don't know why Balderson was left out. For me alot of their problems would be solved by developing a bowling all rounder. Playing in that would have given him alot of experience but instead they knock his confidence. Watching that I'm not sure Jones batting is that superior if at all. He certainly chewed up too many balls which meant Lavelle and lamb had to take too many risks from the start of their innings.
The fielding got very ragged under pressure and you wonder about the mindset when up couple it with the mess they made of the t20 final.
