Apparently only the memberships packs are stuck in customs; the membership cards will be with members before the Surrey game..
As for car parking passes - "Due to the continued redevelopment work at the ground, we are only able to offer a limited number of car park passes to cover the LV=Insurance County Championship and One Day Cup games at Emirates Old Trafford. These passes will be offered to *Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis with any remaining spaces being made available to Members"

I have also received UPDATE ticketing website, second floor balcony access and car parking email from the club. I have copied the middle balcony access from the email below. Take note of the final paragraph, if I read this correctly, do all members have to book a match ticket before entering Old Trafford as our membership card is not valid? Middle Balcony Upgrade Tickets
We are pleased to inform you that all 2023 Members will be able to access the second floor Middle Balcony on a match-by-match basis for the LV= Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup matches for the forthcoming season.
To provide all Members the opportunity to view cricket from an elevated position behind the bowler’s arm, we will be operating a Middle Balcony Upgrade on a day-by-day basis at £5 per day.
Upgrade tickets can be purchased online by logging into the Members Portal here or by calling 0161 868 6868 (Select Option 1).
We encourage you to only purchase Middle Balcony Upgrade tickets for the days you wish to attend, as we want to ensure as many Members as possible can enjoy the view from an elevated view from behind the bowler’s arm and reduce the number of empty seats in this prime location.
New Prime Members, Flexi, Standard and Taster Members who wish to attend any LV=Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup game at Emirates Old Trafford are reminded to book a match ticket as membership cards will not be valid for entry into the ground.
Please note that a valid 2023 Membership is required to book upgrade tickets.

Please note that a valid 2023 Membership is required to book upgrade tickets. I've just received my membership card with a covering note. My category is Prime Membership (Renewal) and I'm assuming that type of membership doesn't need a ticket in advance for CC games. It's all very confusing.....

I wonder how? I have received a letter from the club today. My membership pack are currently still held in a shipping container in customers. The club will keep me updated on when I will receive my membership card and membership pack, and the club have apologies for the inconvenience. Also, reinforcing my last post, the letter quotes: "As a remainder your membership card will not give you access to matches at Elimirate Old Trafford, and should you wish to attend you should follow the instructions here lancashirecricket.co.uk/membership/how-to-book-your-tickets/ by selecting the New Prime Members, Standard Members and Taster Members option in the right menu, to book your tickets."

Received my membership card yesterday along with the same letter, except the letter didn't mention anything about having to book tickets at OT.
It did say that 'the issue is completely out of our control'. It's only out of their control insofar as the membership packs are being held in customs. It was entirely in their control that they decided to outsource the production and manufacture of these packs to an overseas supplier.

In the post. The membership cards aren't stuck, just the bumf that goes with it!

Still no membership card! I suppose I'll just have to turn up on Thursday and visit the offices. Could be that Lancs are now employing people who previously worked on the govt PPE orders during Covid!
