The last game of another disappointing series of games in the RLC, cannot qualify due to teams above us playing each other, however we can go out in a blaze of glory by shafting our friends from the other side of the hills. The Yorkies with a game in hand still in a great position to qualify. Yorkshire will be picking from these players, all-rounder David Willey keeps his place in a 13-man squad. He took 4-47 as the Vikings beat Derbyshire by two wickets with a ball to spare at the 3aaa County Ground.
Ben Coad, who will play in the Second XI Trophy fixture against MCC Young Cricketers at York on Tuesday, is rested once again. Jonny Tattersall keeps the gloves and Steven Patterson continues with the captaincy duties and will do so for the remainder of the Royal London One-Day Cup competition.
13-MAN SQUAD TO FACE LANCASHIRE Gary Ballance Tim Bresnan Harry Brook Karl Carver Matthew Fisher Tom Kohler-Cadmore Adam Lyth Steven Patterson © Liam Plunkett Cheteshwar Pujara Adil Rashid Jonny Tattersall (WK) David Willey
Decent looking squad Kohler-Cadmore has been in good form in the competition, add to that three England bowlers, we may struggle in this one.
Should be a good attendance at Old Trafford tomortrow however the majority will be at the football ground to watch the Rolling Stones. Lancs promotion of this game at the moment is non existant last tweet on the LCCC twitter site is 25 years ago Shane Warne bowled that ball to Gatting

Technically wouldn't have been available if Test had still been on.

Even more tripe at the end of the innings too - one of Bailey's death overs saw a 10-ball over thanks to a number of wides and his next saw a few full tosses that the commentary were complimentary by describing it as buffet.
Requiring a club record 380 to win this from here.

131-1 from the first 17 overs including a century partnership from Jennings and Livingstone - the skipper getting his 50 from just 35 balls.

Note the comments about our trash bowling. Watched last half hour and felt there was plenty of trash cricket from Yorkshire. Overall, I would rather watch Liverpool Premier League cricket any day ; just much more sensible cricket and interest.

Close but no cigar bowling, fielding and catching were dreadful, taken our chances maybe just maybe might have won, but air of resignation whilst in the field, some voilent batting by Willey and Livingstone, decent crowd on as well sadly

Over 5000 there according to the stream which is fantastic for a mid-week dead-rubber (for us and as far as a Roses game goes).

Where on earth do they get that from, I would have said 2,000 if that. mind you the pavilion did run out of real ale so maybe it was a big crowd......... or maybe no one figured a roses game with a nice day forecast would require more beer. wonder if they will have restocked by Saturday?

Your guess is as good as mine re. the attendance.
