Apparently beer prices in the bar were raised by 55 p for member so after discount a pint cost £5.25 If you want to pay over a £5 for beer you need to be sectioned

Who are the other top sides in this Northern Division? I'd have figured the Bears and Yorkshire, so we'll see how we match up as we go to Bears next. Yorkshire have lost 2 already so maybe they aren't so good. Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Durham are all unbeaten so far. Plus Notts and Lancs it could be 5 into 4 to qualify? But with plenty of upsets on the way.
I wasn't counting Worcs and Durham because they were both poor last year, of course they could have changed their line up over the winter and improved or others gone worse.

What did people make of Livingstone not celebrating taking a catch just throwing it back in angry fashion? Perhaps some tension between him and other members of the team when he chose to bowl himself over the front line spinners? I thought his first over gave them momentum when they were going nowhere. I didn't think he threw it back angrily, at least yesterday I didn't. I just thought he wasn't sure whether it was out as it was a bit of a strange shot, I wondered at the time whether the batter had hit it down into the ground and it looped up. I didn't have the sound on so I don't know what the comms were saying about it. I agree about him bowling himself, and all 4 overs too, as I mentioned during the game yesterday. Parky and Hartley both got hit too, but not as bad as Liam, and he had contributed with the bat already and so could have let the others have more of a go. I was a little surprised Mitchell didn't have a bowl earlier. Maybe after his great knock we didn't want to over use him. Dunno.

I think Livingstone's captaincy has been good in the first three games. Lancashire have a lot of bowling options, I like the way he switches the bowlers around which makes it harder for batsmen to settle. He probably did over bowl himself yesterday but he didn't bowl at all in the first two games. I thought it was good Parky bowled his full allocation against Leicestershire after being left out of the championship side.
It was a bit strange that he did not celebrate catching Mullaney, the catch pretty much sealed the match. It was an easy catch and a soft shot from Mullaney. I thought that Livingstone was trying to be humorous in an ironic way.
I'm sure if the coaching staff don't think Livingstone is managing the team well that he will have some difficult conversations with the management.

Notts have a very good batting lineup but could do with another seamer. If I was a Notts fan watching yesterday’s game I would have been gutted that Luke Wood had left, he was probably the difference between the two teams.
In fairness Notts are currently without Stone and Fletcher. I know they've signed a couple of loans but nowhere near the standard of their injured duo.

He didn't play the first game against Derbyshire, Alan, he and Salt came in for the 2nd game against Leicestershire.

I wonder whether we need both Hartley and Parky in the same team when we also have Livingstone and Wells who can slow bowl. Would Gleeson replace one of them? And who would you drop for Buttler? Wells, Croft or Bell? I guess there will be rotation, there is at least one time where we have to play 2 days running just like Notts had to do here.

Four hard away games coming up. Buttler for Croft or Bell otherwise their ideal will be no change.

When will Gleeson be available again?
Surrey all out for 148 against Sussex. Chance for Sussex?

Josh Bohannon in for Phil Salt. Assume Salt has an injury.

Wasn't Salt holding his back at the end of the Notts innings the other day? Might have a tweak.
