Thought this deserved its own thread -
Started following the post by Red&Rosy regarding an article - Original Article - referring to a residential development and a planning application to demolish the empty B&Q. This development of flats, from the sketch in the press article, appears to include part of the OT car park C fronting Great Stone Road. This is confirmed in the details of the proposed development found in the Eco Assessment - starts at page 34 Feasibility StudyLooks like the intention is a land swap - OT giving up 3,870m2 of the car park and acquiring exactly 3,870m2 land behind the indoor school to relocate the outdoor nets. Where the outdoor nets were is shown as grassed rather than replacement car parking so there would be a loss of car parking spaces and income. AJ Bell were a major sponsor of LCCC and I'd be surprised if there hadn't been discussions with LCCC about this land swap. As per usual no info from LCCC.........

Also a planning application to change the frontage of the new stand onto Brian Statham Way. Not what the changes from the original plan are.
