Two rounds of the championship in August, both rounds starting on Thursday, like that. However, two rounds in September start on Monday and Tuesday, don't like that.

This differs from their website which has the May Warwickshire game on 24-27 May - any ideas, anyone?

From clubs Twitter account also Durham game appears to be at Blackpool Think the Warwick game is 24-27 I agree as the 30th is also down as a Blast game.
and their website has a pre season friendly starting on 26th March 2023. They don't make it easy. Despite releasing one match date last week "to give fans the chance to start planning"

I hope the Durham game is at Blackpool, otherwise there is not much cricket at out grounds. Just one championship game at Southport and Metro bank games at Sedbergh and Blackpool. I have enjoyed the T20 games which have been held at Blackpool the last couple of years and they have been well attended.

13 week gap between CC games at OT! I think Blackpool is a better venue for CC - Southport too small...

Yes that's correct, I agree, Blackpool is a better venue, Southport is too small.

Southport is a result wicket,Lancashire have a good recent record there, apparently well liked by the players and staff and always very well attended. Take it over Blackpool personally.

Players not happy about the schedule
"...men’s domestic schedule is unsustainable and in need of reform.........unrelenting men’s schedule involving dangerous travel windows..........the game is prioritising commercial revenue over player welfare...we understand the game has an ambition to look seriously at the 2025 fixture list....
Of course you can't cut the Hundred or the T20 Blast so it will likely be a reduction in the CC or the 50 over.....

especially if they expand the franchises.
They are right of course. Remember Chris Tipper driving through the night to a seconds game in ?Somerset? and crashing. 30 May at home 31 May at New Road. OK players don't drive, but how many members travel to both? 11 July in Derby 12 July in Yorkshire. Metro Bank criss crossing the country is verging on the ridiculous.
Even worse what the ECB / NCCA expect club crickterers who also play at National (Minor) County level to do - and they do drive to arrive maybe 2 or 3 am in the Hotel Sunday morning after a 7pm Saturday finish hundreds of miles away (think Cumbria to Norfolk or Cambridgeshire) to play 11am on Sunday.
