Been the issue all season- batsmen getting starts then getting out.
Main reason we are bottom and staring at relegation.

They just don't learn do they? That is the depressing thing. This is another 500 plus pitch but with our tail I can't see us getting more than 350.

Bell out as well. Yet another feeble effort, Jennings apart.
Sadly our batting is proving to be not up to scoring runs even on the flattest wickets imaginable. Teams are now confident they can bowl us out cheaply, get a big 1st innings score, and skittle the side out second innings.
Quite how it has come to this having been 2nd in 2022 is beyond me.
Bell sadly has proven not to be county quality, with a glaring weakness outside off. The less said about Bruce and Balderson's efforts this season the better.

When is it going to get into Berkensteins thick head that our middle order is abysmal and something needs to be changed? Can Lavelle do any worse?
Not signing a middle order batsman in the winter to replace Jones, Croft and Vilas was absolutely staggering. We have one mediocre kiwi and the rest is cannon fodder.
Doesnt look like the rain is going to save us in this one either.... Durham will bat for 2 days. Lees and Stokes will fill their boots on this wicket.
And if the members in a forum complain they just get shouted down.
