Lancs won toss bowling and Yorkshire 16-2 looks like 68-8 at lunchtime, the tide must be in at Southport.

Seems to be a difference of opinion between eye witnesses and the corporate response from Lancashire. Not helped as that the Lancs website, once again, reporting facts incorrectly. Why would a pitch deteriorate overnight? Lancs coaching staff not reflected well here: www.tapatalk.com/groups/whiteroseforum/yorkshire-seconds-at-southport-game-abandoned-t11148.htmlNot the first time this has happened to a Lancs 2s game. I was at Hove when a match was abandoned twice a few years back, the repaired pitch also deemed dangerous.
