Chapple, Crowe and Onions out. Benkenstein, Porterfield, White and Croft in. Totally new first XI coaching team. I think a new head coach should bring in some of his own people to make changes. I was one of the voices on here calling for changes in the way the first team was being managed. Hopefully the new team will deliver results.

Apologies for my negativity , but not once to set the pulse racing.

I know enterprising cricketers do not always make enterprising captains or coaches ; you only have to look at Watkinson, Chapple etc for that but when he was playing at Formby, you wouldn’t exactly be excited by the prospect of seeing him play.
