Hurst opened the batting for the Manchester Originals. 78 (45). Highest score by anyone. Pity he was run out. What a player at 20. He made 2 in the previous game so I wasn't expecting much from him. I think he has made the spot his own although Holden got 40 in that game.

Again today a splendid performance from Hurst 50 (29). Sunday's game Salt got out at 1/90 and today 1/89.

Felt I could always trust Hurst to stay in until this match. Looking at him more closely I feel he will be run out every few overs and now he looks more reckless than previously.
